Parents Association – Friends of Gravel Hill (FOGH)

FOGH is the parents association for Gravel Hill Primary School. All parents and carers of pupils at the school are automatically members of FOGH.

FOGH is a registered charity. It exists to provide support to the school and to enhance the experience of the children. This is achieved in the following ways:-

• FOGH fundraises to provide support to the school;as a result of the huge amount of fundraising that FOGH did last year the cost of Class trips was kept to a minimum of £5.00 per child, without this fundraising Class trips would of been very expensive.

• Fund raising events include the Summer Fete, Christmas Fayre, Pamper Evenings and the coin trail.

• FOGH also enhances the pupils experience by supporting events such as Smoothie Café, and Special Person Gift days.

• Finally FOGH supports school by providing refreshments at various school events.

FOGH has a 6 person committee and all parents/ carers are encouraged to participate in FOGH meetings and events. Come along to a meeting or an event and help out in whatever way you are able. All newcomers are welcome.

This year FOGH are raising funds for seating areas in the playgrounds that will provide shade and shelter for children and parents/carers.
