YOUR SCHOOL GOVERNORS

Mrs H Teale was appointed by the Local Authority, has been a governor at Gravel Hill since September 2003 and is our Chairman. She is a member of the Finance and General Purpose Committee, the Curriculum Committee and the Staffing Committee. She takes with a special interest in ICT, target setting and attendance.

Mrs J Hetherington was appointed by the Local Authority in September 2009. She is a member of the curriculum committee and the staffing committee and takes an interest in literacy; the early years and the foundation stage.

Mr Ian Webb was appointed by the Local Authority in June 2010 as is a member of the Finance and General Purpose committee. He takes a special interest in Science

Mrs Y Golding was appointed as a community governor in September 2006. She takes a special interest in Safeguarding (child protection, looked after children etc.) and PSHE.

Mr C Mullins was appointed as a community governor in March 2008. He is the vice chair of governors. He is a member of the Finance and General Purpose Committee, and the Staffing Committee and takes a special interest in attendance, pupil progress and Health and Safety

Mrs D Oliver was appointed as a community governor in March 2011. She is a member of the staffing committee and curriculum committee. She takes a special interest in Maths and special needs

Mrs L Svoma was elected as a parent governor in November 2009. She is a member of the curriculum committee and takes a special interest in Gifted and Talented Children

Mrs S Abrahams was elected as a parent governor in 2010. She is a member of the finance and General Purpose committee and takes a special interest in special needs.

Mrs J Warrington was appointed as a staff governor in October 2008. She is a member of the curriculum committee. She takes a special interest in Early Years and literacy.

Miss M Neale is a member of the governing body as Head Teacher and is a member of the finance and General Purpose committee, the curriculum committee and the staffing committee.

Miss N Bridges was appointed as a staff governor in September 2011. She is a member of the curriculum committee.
